Information to clear up some rumors (UPDATED 2/1/2022)

Randa Marie Davidson was last seen January 25, 2022 in the evening. Her vehicle ran out of gas, a passerby took her to a nearby gas station where she got gas, and he took her back to her vehicle where he put the gas in the tank for her. The vehicle was still not working, he took her back toward a gas station where she got out of the vehicle and left on her own. She let her dog out on it's own, and later the dog was found and eventually brought back to Randa's family (and is safe).

Randa was last confirmed to be in the late hours of the night on 1/25/2022 to be walking across the intersection of Wabash Avenue and West White Oaks Drive in Springfield on foot by herself. All of her items were left in the vehicle.

Randa's phone was left behind in a different town nearby and it is believed she left her phone behind, later located. The phone was left behind prior to Randa coming in to Springfield.

The family believes that Randa is still in Springfield. If you have any information or sightings, please stop posting them publicly.

ADDITIONALLY, there is a page made by random people for Randa that is not what the family wants. They do NOT support that page and have asked that page to be taken down, which it has not been.

As of 2/1/2022, Randa's case has been transferred from Greene County Sheriff's Office to Sangaman County Sheriff's Office. Tips are to be sent to them and not for public sharing, as this is an active investigation. Our poster has been updated to reflect the most recent activity.
