Sureel lived on the 1400 block of Sandburg Drive in Schaumburg. She graduated Loyola University with an MBA and worked with her family in a medical center also in Schaumburg. Sureel was last seen driving her white 2011 Lexus Sedan. She told her family she was going to go to her normal exercise gym. The next day when her family couldn’t reach her, they contact the police and filed an official missing person’s report on January 1, 2020.
The family hired a private investigator who located her vehicle on January 13, 2020 on the 200 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue in West Garfield Park Chicago neighborhood. The PI waved down local police and called Sureel’s father. He came to the location with the key to the car. He was the one that opened the trunk to find his daughter unresponsive, wrapped in a blanket in the trunk. It was not known how long the Lexus had been parked there.
The autopsy report showed inconclusive.
