Daniel's adoptive mother reported Daniel missing two years after he was last seen by friends and family. His financial activities ceased after he disappeared.
According to Our Quad Cities news in an April 2022 report, police confirmed the last time he was seen, he was in a vehicle that was reported stolen, and that truck has not been located since.
