***UPDATE AS OF 11/11/23 AT 6:00 AM*** Jared is still missing! We have retrieved additional information on his whereabouts prior to disappearance. Jared was seen alone in his vehicle throughout the early morning of November 5, 2023, from Salem to Central City, then Carmi, Illinois and has not been seen since. His vehicle was found abandoned in a remote location just across the Illinois/Indiana border near Vincennes, Indiana where it was found in the ON position, with the driver side doors opened, and his two dogs inside the vehicle alone.
Thankfully, there are multiple agencies within Illinois and Indiana assisting the Knox County Sheriff's Office including the Salem and Central City Police Departments. Among the resources that are being used, the Knox County Sheriff's Office in Indiana did use a boat sonar in the area where the vehicle was located with negative results.
If you have any information of Jared's location or whereabouts, please contact the police immediately. His family and loved ones continue to suffer without knowing where he is or what happened.

Jared Michael McColloch, 33, left his home in Marion, Louisiana to visit his son in Salem, Illinois on November 5, 2023 and has not been seen or heard from since. There is no bank or phone activity since this time. His vehicle was found dumped in Vincennes, Indiana the following day in a remote area immediately over the Indiana/Illinois border. The vehicle had his two dogs.
Jared was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, his brown Carhart jacket (as shown in the picture), faded blue jeans, and dark blue sketchers.
