Updated: Aug 16, 2022

Three people have been charged in Jennifer Underhill's murder. Jennifer was found murdered outside of a Romeoville warehouse July 25, 2018, lying in the grass on the 1800 block of Normantown Road. The report stated that the Romeoville police were responding to reports of a semi-truck down with broken windows about 1:30 AM. The owner of the truck reported the damage was a result of a domestic dispute. Officers searching the area located Jennifer's body.

Jennifer was allegedly dating Hooper's brother. Hooper is listed as a 'disabled adult'. Parker was his guardian in 2011. Hooper's record includes two prior domestic battery charges in 2008, both charges were dropped. The same year included orders of protection against him.

George L Hooper, 34 of the 21000 block of West Joyce Court has been charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder, Felon Possession/Use of a Firearm on Parole, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Hooper is being held on a $5 Million Bond ($250K).

Rose M Parker, 57 of the same address is charged with two counts of obstructing justice.

Amanda J Weck, 33 was charged in Jennifer's murder with reckless discharge of a firearm. She too lives at the same residence. Her bond is set at $100,000.

Parker allegedly drove a weapon to Madison County and lied to the police and knowingly gave them wrong contact information to Hooper. Parker was allegedly a witness to Jennifer's murder.

Weck allegedly discharged a firearm into the air while standing next to Hooper, according to court documents, and that the gun discharged endangered the bodily safety of a 32-year-old man, also living at the same residence.

The autopsy revealed that Jennifer died of multiple blunt-force trauma caused by an assault.
