The news broke February 24, 2022 when the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 announced they had arrested Gabriel Gonzalez, 25 for aggravated battery of a child in Neoga, Illinois. According to their press release, about 3:00 pm on February 13, 2022, two-year-old Jericho arrived at a hospital and transported to level 1 trauma hospital for suspected child abuse. During their investigation for allegations of Aggravated Battery of a Child and was believed to have occurred on the 800 block of Walnut Avenue in Neoga, Illinois.
Gonzalez was charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child (Class X Felony) and he was arrested by the Neoga Police Department, now held at the Cumberland County Jail on a $250,000 Bond (10%).
