Patrick was last seen December 12, 2020 leaving his residence. He left behind all of his personal belongings including his wallet, ID, cash, cards, vehicle, keys and cell phone. He didn't tell anyone where he was going. After he was reported missing the Rockford Police Department had dogs search an area which confirmed his last scent, near the river. Weather conditions made it impossible for search and rescue to attempt to locate in the river between freezing temperatures, ice and snow.
A body was located in the Rock River, south of Lowell Park near the west bank yesterday, April 29, 2021 and was confirmed 4/30/2021 to be that of Patrick Reum.
