A South Beloit woman faces first degree murder charges stemming from the death of a newborn.
Kristin Alley Larson, 35, of 420 Oakland Ave Apt 5, South Beloit, IL has been charged with one count of First Degree Murder and one count of Concealment of a Homicidal Death for the death of Kristin's newborn daughter,
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office was notified June 8, 2021 of a newborn baby missing. Larson let the Sheriff's Office in her residence where they found the remains of a female newborn infant in a bucket in the spare room of her home. The baby had been deceased for five days prior to her being found. Autopsy showed the newborn was born alive. According to the Rockford Register Star, Winnebago County State's Attorney announced the charges Friday, October 8, 2021. The court records showed the first day in court was the 9th. The baby was murdered June 3rd, 2021.
Larson faces up to 60 years in prison.
