March 8, 2021, First responders responded to an apartment building in Elgin, Illinois at an apartment building near the 00-100 block of Longwood Place and Garden Crescent Drive about 9AM. Three-month=old baby Malik Davis was taken to AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, then transferred to Lurie Children's Hospital. Malik died days later of blunt force head injuries and his death is now being investigated as a homicide.
The Elgin Police Department together with the Major Investigations Division are investigating his death.
We are more than 7 months after Malik's death everything remains silence. Nothing more has been publicly stated regarding their investigation, possible person(s) of interest or suspect(s).
We were unable to locate any pictures of Malik.
