Four-month-old Lailanni Fields has died from injuries resulting from child abuse in the Chicago neighborhood of Grand Crossing. Reports show that a twenty-four year old man found Lailanni unresponsive on October 18, 2021 unresponsive on the 7200 block of South Ellis Avenue and took her to the Jackson Park Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Another report shows that the man was in the vehicle with Lailanni when he found her unresponsive on the 7500 block of South Stony Island Avenue.
The autopsy result from the medical examiner's office shows that Lailanni died from child abuse resulting from multiple injuries.
No word yet on any arrests.
