John Frisch Identified, Peoria County, Illinois



November 13, 2016 a torso was located in the Illinois River in the town Browning, in Schuyler County, Illinois



June 12, 2017 a skull was found in Kingston Mines, Illinois. They created a sketch of what the man may look like. With the help of the DOE NETWORK and other officials, DNA later matched the torso to be the same person as the skull located. The Coroners and law enforcement agreed to bring the torso to Peoria County.

John Doe's identity through dental records in Hawaii was actually John H Frisch who would have been 56 years old at the time of his death.



John was never reported missing. His prior residency was Hawaii, and Peoria, Illinois. Both of his parents are deceased. Jamie Harwood, Peoria County Coroner reported that John died of blunt force trauma to the head, then dismembered and thrown in different parts of Illinois.
