The Lake County Sheriff's Office reported in a news release that a body was found Sunday, April 27, 2020 in an open field in Wauconda, Illinois in the 25200 block of West Old Rand Road.
Three teenagers were collecting firewood when they discovered the body.
The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and it was not determined if the body was that of a male or a female. There were no obvious signs of foul play.
