With a heavy heart, we must report that Richard Holic has been found deceased. Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Richard was last seen canoeing in Lake Michigan June 2, 2020 near the 1200 block of West Chase Avenue in Rogers Park, a North side neighborhood of Chicago.
A body was located June 7, 2020 near Belmont Harbor, now confirmed to be Richard. Richard lived in Rogers Park.
Cause and manner of death is pending further investigation.

A body was found in the water at Belmont Harbor Sunday afternoon after a call came in about 1:14 p.m. Sunday. No additional details have yet been released.
The body was recovered from Lake Michigan near the mouth of the harbor. A death investigation continues.
